linux structure

Hi, I'm just playing around with my new Aqua Fish and I was wondering why I can't see the whole file/folder structure of the device when mounted true USB (or paired with Bleutooth) on one of my Linux machines? When I normally mount other Linux devices even true USB I get the whole structure beginning from / . Security reasons?
